JaLaan Imari DuBose is the youngest daughter of Hendless, III, and Chelsea DuBose. She is the granddaughter of Annie Mae DuBose, the Late Albert and Irene Tolbert, and Hendless DuBose, Jr.
JaLaan is a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church where she is a member of the Youth Choir and the Lead Praise Dancer.
She is currently a Sophomore at the Mattie T. Blount High School where she is a member of the Blount High School Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Symphonic Band. Before high school, JaLaan began her musical journey with the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra. Today she is an active member of the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra and Chamber Strings. Her musical talents include playing: the Violin, Upright Double Bass, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Marimba, and Cymbals.
In her spare time, JaLaan participates in a traveling quartet demonstrating the fundamentals of strings. She is scheduled to graduate from Blount High School in 2025.
